Programme

Day(1)Pick up at any location on request. Pick up time is following ;

  • Pick up at hotel after breakfast then tour exploration is full day.
  • Pick up at arrival to Mandalay by overseas flight(by Bangkok Airway, Air Asia) to the hotel then tour observation is half  day.

Day(2)Sagaing-Mingywan(Mingun).Overnight.

Day(3)Mandalay-Hanlin-Shwebo.Overnight.

Day(4) Shwebo – Mezar – Indaw.Overnight.

Day(5) Indaw – Mawlu –The lake (Indaw lay)-Elephant Camp-Katha.Overnight.

Day(6) Katha (Finding Gorge Orwell in Katha).Overnight.

Day(7)Katha-Mandalay

Itinerary

Day(1)Mandalay-Amarapura-Mandalay

  • After breakfast pick up and will excurse following tour spots;
    • Bronze Casting Tradition Work, religions concerns products.
    • Mahagandhayon Monastery;ceremony of monks and novices alms food offering by devotees)
    • Taung Min Gyi Paya,bigger sitting Buddha Image.
    • U Hpin(U Bein); a landmark that Ancient Long Wooden Bridge
    • Taung Thaman Lake Village and Its Environment
    • Kyauktawgyi Marble Image, sculpted to single marble
    • Hand Weaving Traditional.
  • After that will have lunch and head to Mandalay where will see below;
  • Mahamuni Sacred Buddha Image;highly venerable religion shrine 2600 years ago
  • Shwe Einbin Wooden Ancient Monastery
  • Ayeyarwaddy River Bank
  • Golden Palace Monastery; it was built with teak wood on raised brick plinth, gilded with gold and vermillion
    • Kuthodaw Pagoda(The Biggest Book), that contains the world’s largest book it 729 stone-inscription caves
  • Mandalay Hill For sunset; it  is the vintage point for panoramic view of the city and marvelous sunset
  • Then bring back to hotel and relax. Dinner will serve.

Day(1) Mandalay Arrival & Short Sightseeing

  • Pick up at Mandalay Int’l Airport and drive to hotel and check in.
  • Taking relax a few hours and pick up at 16:00 pm and will excurse following highlights;
    • Kuthodaw Pagoda(Royal Merit Pagoda); that contains the world’s largest book it 729 stone-inscription caves
    • Mandalay Hill For sunset; it  is the vintage point for panoramic view of the city and marvelous sunset.

Day(2)Sagaing-Mingywan(Mingun)

  • After breakfast pick up and will excurse following tour spots;
    • Khaungmudaw Stupa;(The enormous dome rises 46 m (151 feet) in the shape of a perfect hemisphere
    • Silver Craft Workshop; motif sculpt on drawing silver that stuck with coal tar
    • Uhminthonzae Paya;(it is a 14th century cave there was placed 45

Buddha Images

  • Swam Oo Ponya Shin Paya;(there is very peaceful and get cool eyes looking at environment
  • Saggaing hill ;panorama view connect Ayeyarwaddy River and

Scattered pagodas from there.

  • Then drive back to Mandalay where will have lunch meanwhile taking rest.
  • After this transit into private boat to Mingywan(Mingun).
  • Exploration following highlights;
  • Ayeyarwaddy(Irrawaddy) river sceneries
  • Mingwan(Mingun) lion;this twin statues are so big also guardian to temple
  • Mingwan temple;with immense unfinished stupa of  Bowdawpaya
  • Mingwan Bell (it is world’s biggest ringing bell (90 tons).
  • Myatheindan Pagoda( unique architectural splendid of King Bagyitaw for memory of his wife
  • Before sunray come spectrum color we will gather and get in boat drive back to Mandalay
  • Gazing at sunset is scenically beauty from the rooftop of boat in the river.
  • Then back to Mandalay and drive to hotel.Overnight.

 

Day(3)Mandalay-New Nyein Village-Hanlin(Heritage Place)-Shwebo

  • After breakfast in early morning pick up and drive to Shwebo then head to New Nyein Galazing(Ceramic) and pottery craft factory.
  • Then drive to Kyauk Myaung (Nwe Nyein Ceramic Village) via Shwebo.
  • A riverside town and village along the Ayeyarwady River.Excurse below;
  • Demonstrate Production high quality pottery.
  • Multi motif design pots.
  • Then continue to Hanlin Heritage site which was enlisted by UNESCO World Heritage where observe around then lunch with region foods.
  • After this drive to Shwebo back where will excurse following tour sites;
  • Yadana Mingalar Palace;It was built by King Alaungphaya U Aung Zeya in 1753 A.D
  • Bawdhi Myinthar Pagoda(Maw Daw Myin)
  • Myo Daunt Pagoda; It was built by King Alaungpaya in 1757. When he conquered Bago
  • Shwe Chet Thoe Pagoda
  • Drive to hotel and check in.Overnight.

Day(4)Shwebo-Mezar-Indaw

  • After breakfast hotel check up and pick up and continue to next destinations
  • Passing Union Road will excurse many paddy fields and villages to Indaw.
  • For energetic travelers, hiking up to the natural Bats Cave on th way(Bat’s

Dung is the best natural fertilizer for the regional agriculture.

  • Then proceed to Indaw passing Mezar district; was covered by dense rain forest
  • On arrival to Indaw in the late afternoon, a small town with full of its unique natural tour attractions as following;
    • Museum monastery where old Buddhist ornaments, literature are kept.
    • (Exhibited gigantic wooden boat and ore)
    • Mann Le Village. Mann Le village;famous for the most venerable
    • Buddhist scholar Mann Le Sayardaw (1842-1920)
    • Observe the local crafts; pottery works and palm hats weaving.
  • Overnight in Indaw.

Day(5)Indaw-Mawlu-The lake (Indaw lay)-Elephant Camp-Katha

  • After breakfast hotel check up and pick up and continue to next destinations
  • In the morning, walk over a bamboo bridge crossing a small river and visit Manfar village, full of Katu tribes
  • Observe the basket weaving, the tradition of the village. Continue driving to Mawlu
  • Explore making the Burmese and Shan Drum, the whole process of crafting, putting leather to make a sound, testing the drum.
  • Proceed further to picturesque Indaw lay Lake(smaller than Indaw Gyi) and stop for photo.
  • Then continue to World War 2 Museum and observe what went wrong or right for the war time’s sake
  • After that a short drive will take to the Nat Pauk Elephant Camp
  • In the late afternoon, proceed to Katha, observe to Gorge Orwell’s Residence.
  • Overnight in Hotel Katha.

Day(6)Katha(Kyauktada)

  • After breakfast walk and look around easily to Katha market.
  • A few brief for Katha such as;
  • George Orwell and the plots of his famous book ‘Burmese Days’ . Katha was Eric A. Blair’s. George last posting in the Imperial Police before he sailed back to England in 1927, adopted the nom de plume Orwell and launched a writing career that would produce powerful novels and commentary. he immortalized it as the setting of his first novel, the vehemently anti-colonial “Burmese Days,” though he called it not Katha but “Kyauktada.” Katha was the final resting  place of the old flotilla and here over a hundred ships were skippered in 1942 in an Act of Denial before the advancing Japanese.
    • Observe to George Orwell’s Old House; house of Commissioner (Locals call The Red House), the Divisional Forest Officer’s house , the Tennis Court ( British colonial time), Old British Club, old prison, the old bell which was used and hanged at the ship of George White, Allied War Cemetery, The old Church ( Shinpaul Lu Ann Ga Li Kan ), the fire station’s collection of IFC ships bells taken from sunken ships in the Second War.
    • Overnight in Hotel Katha.

Day(7): Katha-Mandalay

  • After breakfast hotel check up and pick up and by private boat or government ship to Mandalay.
  • If hire and ride private boat will explore following highlights of Mingywan(Mingun) before arrival to Mandalay;
    • Mingywan(Mingun) Pahtodawgyi Edifice(Dome); an enormous pile of bricks
    • Mya Thein Tan Pagoda; built in 19 century by King Bagyidaw
    • Mingywan(Mingun) Bell; Casted in1780 weight 90 tons.
    • Mingywan(Mingun) Brick Lions
  • If get ticket with government ship will look from away following highlights of Mingywan(Mingun) before arrival to Mandalay;
    • Mingywan(Mingun) Pahtodawgyi Edifice(Dome); an enormous pile of bricks
    • Mya Thein Tan Pagoda; built in 19 century by King Bagyidaw
  • On depend arrival transfer to hotel.
